ACA has invested heavily in the latest technology to become one of the leading experts in Virtual Commissioning to meet the ongoing requirements and demands of customers. This was recognised with ACA being nominated and subsequent winners of the Technology award in 2017 and again in 2019.
Virtual Commissioning
By carrying out Virtual Commissioning on our systems prior to installation at our customers sites, ACA are able to demonstrate and validate the robot paths, tooling processes, signal processing and cycle time by running from the actual PLC software written for the cell.
The virtual commissioning of a machine allows the customer to gain confidence in the final design, allowing better project forecasting and can reduce on site commissioning time (up to 40%).
As ACA will provide the running model of the machine as installed, later additions into the system become even more streamline as this can be achieved without the need to interrupt existing production.
